How the Approval Process Works

Before we can begin, every customer-supplied item must be approved. Please provide a clear photo of your item along with the dimensions and material type. Our experts will review the item to ensure it is compatible with our laser systems. Pricing and turnaround are confirmed after review.

Shipping & Local Drop-off

Canada-Wide Shipping: Once approved, you can ship your item to our studio. We recommend using a tracked shipping service. We ship finished products back to you anywhere in Canada.

Local Drop-off (St. John’s, NL): For local customers, we offer drop-off and pick-up at the EngraveOn store at Avalon Mall. Visit our Services page for store hours and directions.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Is my item suitable for engraving?
We engrave wood, leather, glass, slate, and most metals. We cannot engrave certain plastics (PVC) or items that are excessively large/fragile. Visit our Engraving FAQ for more details.

How do I get approval?
Submit clear photos and material details via our Contact page or email. We must verify the surface is flat enough and the material is safe for our lasers.

How does shipping work?
You are responsible for shipping the item to us. We provide a custom quote for the return shipping during the approval stage.

What if my item is rejected?
If an item is deemed unsuitable, we will explain why. You may browse our Services to see products we supply directly that are guaranteed for engraving.
